Current Miss Ikorodu, Miss Otayomi Blessing Olawunmi, has been nominated as one of the contestants for the Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos Pageant , coming up on July 20th, 2025.
The Publicity Secretary of the Ikorodu – Oga Development Association (IKODASS), Prince Dare Oshikoya, revealed this in a statement this evening.
Miss Olawunmi emerged as Miss Ikorodu during the annual Ikorodu – Oga Day Celebration being organized by the Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS).
The yearly celebration is aimed at developing human capital, building the community, celebrating cultural heritage and projecting the good image of the Ikorodu as a leading city in the country and global village.
The pageant queen, who hails from Itunmoja area of Ikorodu, was crowned by HRM Oba (Dr.) Engr. Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, after her emergence at a well – attended beauty pageant held during last year’s Ikorodu-Oga Day celebrations.
Stating that the platform created by IKODASS gave her and others necessary exposure, the cultural organization wished her well in the upcoming contest.
“It is our belief that her performance and the organisation of the event exposed her potentials and that of others for this greater level in the State.
“We wish you all the confidence and grace, as you step on that stage.
“May your poise light up the stage and your presence leave a lasting impression, because you represent not just beauty, but intelligence, elegance, and strength.
